Earth Day April 22, 2010

  This week the students will be learning about the importance of recycling.  The students will build a "Trash City".  Each class will build a city block using recycled materials.  Each class will bring their blocks together at the end of the week and form a city.  Parents are welcome to join students and faculty in the gym Friday at 2:30 for the judging and viewing of our "Trash City".  The students will also be learning about air pollution, land pollution, and water pollution.  In the classrooms, we will also be sorting trash for recycling.  (plastics, glass,paper)
